The gallery is the exclusive representative of the estates of Bauhaus artist Herbert Bayer and Synchromist founder Stanton MacDonald-Wright, and a representative of the estates of John Stephan, Paul Burlin, Margo Hoff, and John Grillo.
Peyton Wright Gallery is dedicated to presenting the work of artists who have made important contributions to the development of 20th century abstraction, and offers works by Leon Berkowitz, Mary Bauermeister, Emil Bisttram, Peter Miller, Jan Matulka, Vance Kirkland, and others.
In addition, Peyton Wright Gallery is internationally recognized for its vast collection of historical art, featuring 17th to 19th century paintings, sculpture, and objects from around the world. Amongst its myriad holdings, the gallery hosts a rare collection of 18th and 19th century bultos, cristos, and retablos from prominent New Mexican santeros, 18th and 19th century Russian icons, and Pre-Columbian and Native American ceramics and textiles.
